The EMS 30400 is visually more similar to Electrolux built-in microwave ovens than to earlier standard microwave ovens of this brand. The colour of the case "stainless steel" with a black front panel and its clear lines give the device a strict and solid appearance. A good choice for high-tech, minimalist, modern kitchens. Just keep in mind that it will require more space (34x52x44 cm) than other models.

Prepare a lot. cook fast

The "chubby" EMS 30400 won't fit a whole turkey like a freestanding oven or stove top with a large oven. However, this “microwave” can cook a large piece of meat or a large portion of potatoes. After all, the inner chamber has a very significant volume (24.5 liters) with an enlarged pallet (315 mm). Since the power of the model is solid (900 W, for the grill — 1100 W), then relatively large portions will be cooked quickly. By the way, the grill stand from the delivery set is useful just for meat, poultry or fish.

Everything is automated

Electrolux EMS 30400 may not be the best purchase if you want to cook according to your own recipes and fine-tune the cooking parameters. The manufacturer did not provide the possibility of entering one's own recipes into memory, nor for flexible programming of available programs. The oven is suitable for those who want to cook using pre-installed programs, and not experiment. Of course, "just heating" and defrosting are also available here.

In the automatic cooking mode, the settings are reduced to the choice of the programme and the approximate weight of the products to be cooked. For example, pizza can be baked with a weight of 200, 300 or 400 grams, and the maximum weight for chickens is up to 1.2 kg.

The choice of programs is large, because convection and grill greatly expand the capabilities of the microwave oven. By the way, please note that the temperature during convection reaches up to + 230 °C, which is only slightly lower than that of ovens in electric stoves. Programs are programmed for meat, fish, bread, pies, pizza, vegetables, potatoes, pasta, chicken and soup.

The advantage of the EMS 30400 over inexpensive models is the presence of a display. It, by default, displays the current time, the delayed start timer, or the selected cooking settings.
