The advanced fully integrated hood from the Series 700 range by the popular manufacturer Electrolux is designed for neat, concealed installation. With dimensions of 54 cm in width, 33.1 cm in depth, and a height of 30 cm, the practical steel body completely hides in the kitchen cabinet, maintaining a unified style with the furniture facade. The main engineering feature of the device is the Hob2Hood automation system: when paired with a compatible cooktop, the unit automatically activates lighting and dynamically adjusts fan speed based on the burner’s temperature activity.

The branded ExtractionTech Plus motor handles vapor extraction with three basic speeds and an additional intensive mode. In standard mode, the Electrolux LFG516X kitchen hood generates a performance of up to 450 m³/h, with peak capacity increasing briefly to 600 m³/h during heavy smoking. Sound pressure levels range from 50 dB at initial settings to 66 dB under maximum load.

The device vents steam into the ventilation shaft through a 150 mm diameter duct or autonomously cleans the flow via recirculation. An aluminum filter captures grease particles, and an optional carbon element is needed to neutralize odors in a closed cycle. Convenience in maintenance is significantly enhanced by the built-in contamination indicator: the electronics will remind the user when to wash the standard grid in the dishwasher or replace the active filter.
