Epson's entry-level home theater projector is represented by the duo of the TW740 and TW750 models, which use three-matrix 3LCD technology.
Tri-matrix technology
"Under the hood" of the projector are three translucent LCD matrices. Each of them is translucent with its base colour (red, green or blue), and the final colour image is formed from images superimposed on each other. As a result, the projector demonstrates higher brightness levels in comparison with single-matrix counterparts in the shop. The quasi-laser lamp of the device generates a luminous flux of up to 3400 ANSI lumens.
Wireless broadcast
A distinctive feature of the character of the Epson EH-TW750 model is support for wireless technology for broadcasting Miracast content. Smartphone videos can be played on the projector without the need to download additional mobile apps. The projector's wired interfaces are represented by two HDMI ports, one USB input, an analogue VGA connector and a composite video input.
Strong Trumps
Above the lens of the model there is a convenient slider for horizontal correction of keystone distortions of the image geometry (±30°). The projector also has a vertical keystone function and a built-in speaker with a base power level of about 2 watts. Another weighty argument in favor of the model is its democratic value, which is the strongest trump card up its sleeve.
