It is capable of delivering current up to 54.1 A along the + 12V line, which is 99% of the nameplate power. The circuit uses high-quality electrolytic capacitors of high temperature series, which perfectly cope with the task of smoothing / suppressing ripples and guarantee a long service life. To cool the PSU itself, a controlled 120 mm fan with a plain bearing is used. In addition to the ATX 24-pin and 2xEPS/ATX12V 8-pin (4+4) cable, there are two 3xSATA lines, two cables with PCI-E 8-pin (6+2) connectors, and a 2xSATA+2xMOLEX + Floppy cable.

More than promised
FSP Hyper 80+ Pro H3-650 is a de jure certified 80 PLUS White power supply. But de facto, according to the results of external independent testing, its efficiency is 85 percent, which corresponds to the level of already 80 PLUS Bronze. Able to work only in 220-volt electrical networks, which, however, is not a problem in our area.
Progressive Approach
It is built on its own FSP platform with already separate stabilization of low-voltage DC-DC lines. Whereas the younger series of PSU FSP PNR is still content with the classic group stabilization. It is cooled by a 12 cm Yate Loon spinner on a sleeve bearing, which is a frequent guest in inexpensive power supplies (rotation speed from 900 to 2400 rpm).
Protective reflexes
An EMI filter is soldered at the input, as well as a varistor to protect against sudden voltage surges and lightning strikes. But the varistor helps only if the household electrical outlet is grounded. But, alas, there is no fuse. The CapXon high-voltage capacitor is durable at 105 degrees, and its 330 microfarad capacitance is enough to hold up to 17 milliseconds.
