A premium model from the portfolio of the reputable American brand Garmin. The device is designed in the form factor of a compact digital camera with a characteristic protruding lens on the front panel of the body. The recorder's optics have a field of view of approximately 140° and are supplied as standard with a built-in Clarity polarizer (to eliminate glare). Video footage is recorded on the model's camera in maximum resolution of 2560x1440 pixels at 30 fps.

Captured material can be viewed on-site on the 2.4-inch color display. It can also be accessed from mobile devices, for which the dash cam is equipped with wireless Wi-Fi connectivity. The Garmin Dash Cam X210 comes with built-in GPS to link speed and vehicle coordinates to the video footage. In terms of passive safety functions, the device warns the driver of potential collision hazards with other vehicles in traffic and lane departure. Additionally, the model is capable of round-the-clock parking monitoring and can warn about speed control cameras (option not available in all regions). To avoid unnecessary distractions from driving, the dash cam supports recognizing simple voice control commands.
