The model’s main advantage is support for video recording at 3840x2160 pixels at 30 fps. When switching to Full HD, the frame rate increases to 120 fps, ensuring ultra-smooth footage and excellent license plate readability on the road. For scenes with high contrast lighting, HDR technology is provided, and the built-in Garmin Clarity polarizer reduces windshield glare.
Wi‑Fi access
The dash cam features a 2.4-inch touchscreen and Wi‑Fi module, allowing you to manage settings and view footage from your smartphone. With a subscription to Garmin services, the user gets access to real-time monitoring of the area around the vehicle and uploading videos to the Garmin Drive cloud. The device also supports voice control.
GPS and driver assist
The model comes with a GPS module and ADAS driver assistance system. The assistants alert you when traffic ahead starts moving, monitor lane keeping, and help maintain a safe following distance. A microSD memory card is required for recording — the device is compatible with cards up to 512 GB.
