Model overview based on user reviews
The Gembird SPG5-G-6 is a five-outlet power strip with grounding, overload and short-circuit protection, a 1.8 m cable, and wall-mounting capability. Users report good cable quality and properly soldered contacts, but durability feedback is negative, with reports of the plastic housing crumbling after about a year and concerns about the internal conductor material.
Pros
Cons
Pratsyuvalo - Plastic crumbles when touched - Fake copper inside |
Worked for just over a year, and "plastic fatigue" occurred. The casing simply crumbled at the touch (wasn't exposed to the sun, there was no overheating). Does its job. Good cable. The contacts are soldered well. The hull fell apart within a year. |
