Inexpensive 7-port USB hub (hub) of the USB 3.2 standard with a 24 cm cable, physical switches and LED indication. Designed for use with laptops and other portable personal computers equipped with USB A 3.2 Gen1 ports. The manufacturer is positioning it as a product in the mid-price category for 2023. Aimed at users who need to radically increase the number of available USB ports by connecting an additional hub.

Suitable for connecting to a monoblock or miniPC, as well as to the side connector of a laptop. In these cases, a short cable length will be enough to connect the hub directly to the desktop. Due to the ability to directly electrically disable any of the ports with a separate switch, it will be especially useful for situations where frequent physical connection/disconnection of a USB connector is performed daily (thus, switches replace direct manipulation of the connector).

The Gembird UHB-U3P7P-01 USB hub is equipped with seven USB A 3.2 Gen1 ports with a theoretical throughput of up to 5 Gbps (in practice, speeds up to 450 MB/s). You can connect a wide range of USB devices to such a hub, incl. smartphones, various manipulators (mice, trackballs, gamepads), flash drives, measuring devices, mobile hard drives, keyboards, printers, USB headphones, card readers, web cameras, etc.
