Globex SmartBook

Globex SmartBook is a "reader" for those who do not need additional features. It does an excellent job of displaying on its screen text files of the vast majority of modern formats, and more from an easy-to-use "workhorse" is not required.

Fast access

The display of the model is non-touch, so the entire work of the book is controlled through traditional push-button input. In addition to the usual buttons for turning pages and navigating through the menu, there was a place on the body of the device for several shortcut keys. In particular, one of them is responsible for turning on the backlight, clicking on the other increases the font, and clicking on the third changes the text orientation from portrait to landscape or vice versa.

The resolution of the 6-inch display is 1024x758 pixels. In fact, these figures indicate a high level of detail: all pictures are easy to read, and fonts are displayed in a smoothed form and without “ladders”. If necessary, the user can always use the backlight function, which has 6 gradations of brightness for different types of lighting.

battery life

Depending on the intensity of reading and the frequency of using the backlight, the device works on a single charge of the built-in battery for about 2-4 weeks. You can connect the reader to the mains to replenish battery power using a microUSB cable, which is found in almost every modern home.

Case book

A small spoon with tar was tucked into the barrel of honey — the plastic case of the e-book collects fingerprints very actively. An attractive book case with a blue cover will help get rid of them. The manufacturer did not regret including it in the reader's package, even despite the democratic cost of the model as a whole.
