Electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor. Automatic performance check. Works as a night light when a person approaches at night. Humidity sensor to avoid alarms due to water vapor. Compliant with EN14604 and EN50291-1 standards.
Built-in speaker with a message about the type and location of the alarm (in case of combining several sensors). Wavelengths of different lengths to detect fast-burning and smoldering fires. There is a battery-powered version Nest Protect Battery.
