The Ajax MotionProtect security sensor, released in 2016, is a development by a well-known Ukrainian company. At first glance simple, the gadget is equipped with advanced functions for motion indication and analysis in the area. Tracking is performed by an infrared sensor, and SmartDetect false alarm prevention handles data processing. An additional lens covers 88.5° horizontally and 80° vertically with an effective detection distance of 12 meters.
The proprietary Jeweller wireless range up to 1700 m provides two-way communication for remote configuration and instant reaction to threats. Software algorithms allow you to set pet immunity up to 20 kg, temperature compensation, and sensitivity. The device’s own security is implemented via a tamper and jamming notifications to the monitoring station. The sensor’s autonomy is 5-year battery life thanks to a single CR123 battery.
