Overall, an excellent camera. I recommend it to everyone. It fully justifies its price. Excellent electronic stabilization, easy controls and settings, and great filming. The camera is easy to connect to a phone and view the footage. Convenient to carry, waterproof. Batteries quickly drain in temperatures below 0°C. use GoPro HERO7 Black Edition few months |

Check out my channel where I conducted a comparative review of daytime and nighttime filming quality between the GoPro Hero7 Black and the Sony HDR-AS300 1. The camera has excellent stabilization, just as it should be, with a motion effect, unlike the GoPro Hero 8 where the image simply floats, which looks unnatural and unrealistic. 2. The camera performs excellently in automatic white balance settings and also selects exposure well, especially noticeable when shooting at night (compared with the Sony AS300). 3. The ability to record awesome timelapses at 240Fps. 4. Very wide-angle view when shooting! 5. High-quality manufacturing materials, you're not as afraid to drop the camera like you would with a Sony. 6. Video footage shot with this camera is very easy to color correct if recorded in Flat mode. 1. The camera microphones... they're kind of placed in less than ideal spots, you could accidentally cover them with your finger while shooting. 2. With one GoPro battery you're like "a soldier without a weapon" :) You need to carry two or three batteries because of their short life (or the camera's power-hungry nature). 3. About the touchscreen and menus... you might accidentally switch the recording mode from video to photo and not notice it immediately... 4. The camera records in HEVC codec, but my personal Samsung smart TV doesn't recognize these video files, whereas it can read Sony's AVC HD.  Aleksandr: use GoPro HERO7 Black Edition less than month |
