360° view
The model is equipped with two hemispherical lenses with a field of view of 180° each. The picture from them is glued by hardware into a comprehensive video with a final resolution of up to 5.6K (5504x2752 pixels). If a 360-degree view is not needed, the operator has the right to select a “flat” video recording mode (like the action cameras of the HERO line). At the same time, video shooting resolutions of 2560x1440 pixels at 60 fps and 1920x1080 pixels with the same frame rate of 60 fps are available.
Flexible management
For the convenience of sighting and control of shooting parameters, a colour screen with a diagonal of 1.7" and touch control is provided to the user. Well, the full potential of the camera is revealed in a branded mobile application with a built-in Quik video editor. The camera also learned to respond to the operator's voice commands — up to fourteen of them are recognized in total (including in Russian).
Onboard equipment
The on-board equipment of the GoRpo Max includes folding “ears” for attaching accessories, a geo-positioning GPS module, and six microphones for high-quality sound recording. But the main accessory in addition to the 360 ° camera — the Grip monopod — will have to be purchased separately. Another pebble in the garden of the model is a poor result in low light. However, the all-seeing camcorder has much more pluses, and all of them together completely cover the above-mentioned flaws.
