Complete lack of tightness of the gas rotary switches The story is pretty typical — once again we ended up with a disappointing brand-name dud. After the very first cleaning of the stove, the electric ignition started acting up, and on one of the burners it burned out completely. When moisture got under the knob (to be clear, the knob that controls the gas on the burners), corrosion appeared. It wasn’t considered a warranty case, since before each cleaning you’re supposed to disconnect the cooktop from the power. And recently that same knob jammed right in the middle of cooking, so we had to shut off the gas at the cylinder. I recommend anyone interested take a look at other models. Hybrid cooktop: two gas burners and two electric zones. It has electric ignition and flame-failure safety. The control knobs are easy to use. The gas-and-electric combo seemed interesting when buying, but we eventually decided it’s inconvenient, to put it mildly. I use the gas burners more often, out of habit and to keep electricity use down. Though we haven’t actually crunched the numbers to see which option is more economical. You have to clean it often because the surface gets dirty quickly and loses its nice look. So you need to wipe it down after every time you cook, otherwise it’ll look awful. Stylish and secure
The combined panel of the Slovenian manufacturer Gorenje received a spectacular glass-ceramic surface.
