Model overview based on user reviews
Hator Hyperpunk 3 USB is a lightweight gaming headset with clear, detailed sound and useful dual connectivity. Users and testing praise its gaming positioning, music playback, microphone, comfortable fabric ear pads, and convenient controls. However, some users report fragile plastic, creaking during movement, a loose USB-C connector, and intermittent disconnections. External noise isolation is generally decent but may not block all sounds.
Pros

Cons

Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase, the headset is really top-notch!
7 March 2025
I've been using it for over a week, and I can say that the headset is just amazing for its price! The sound is awesome, especially in games; positioning is much better than my old one, even though it was also 7.1 - the difference is huge. Now in CS, I can shoot through walls by sound like a PRO! The headphones are also suitable for music and movies, unlike many other gaming headsets, the sound quality exceeds expectations. The microphone is just fantastic, and it even cuts out background noise. The design is quite successful, and the headset is lightweight but feels sturdy and reliable. The fabric ear cushions are comfortable and insulate external noise well. The controls are conveniently located on the left ear cup. It is possible to take phone calls during a game. You can even use it as a Bluetooth headset if you connect it to a power bank.
Light, high-quality, excellent sound

Don't waste your money

half a year in, and the plastic on the left headphone broke, and there's already a crack on the right one.
after that - they're gone
VERY fragile plastic
with such flaws, for that kind of money, I don't recommend it.
8 January 2026
* when worn on the head, horrible creaks and snaps are heard with any movement of the headphone mechanisms, touching the cable, etc.
* a loose connector (type C is loose... that's something new) in the ear cup
* occasionally they randomly disconnect themselves (the computer stops seeing them) and after a couple of dozen seconds, they reconnect back on their own, sometimes several times a day, sometimes everything's fine for a few days

I bought them for 60 EUR when the new generation launched, in February 2025, and regretted it (due to the build quality and constant disconnections). With such quality, their price should be 20 EUR at most.

If it weren't for these flaws, the headphones would be worth every penny.
* The sound is decent,
* the microphone is good,
* with the microphone turned off, the rear noise cancellation works about as well as a speakerphone, providing decent sound, so you may not even need to connect the main microphone,
* it can connect to the phone via Bluetooth and work as a headset, simultaneously playing sound from both the phone and the computer.
* build quality,
* spontaneous shutdowns

Popular questions

Verified 2 september, Olexandr Cherkashchenko

Does the Hator Hyperpunk 3 have a USB wireless connection or Bluetooth?

No separate wireless radio channel is specified: the main audio is transmitted via USB, with both USB-A and USB-C connections available. Bluetooth is provided for calls, making the headset convenient for use with a PC and answering calls from a smartphone, but it does not replace a wireless gaming headset.Source:Specifications

How do Hator Hyperpunk 3 USB differ from Hyperpunk 2 USB?

The main change is the switch to a built-in USB audio interface: the external HATOR Crystal 7.1 sound card is no longer included. The headphones also use 40 mm drivers instead of the 50 mm drivers in the previous version, and come with two cables: USB-C—USB-C, 1.3 m long, and USB-C—USB-A, 1 m long.Source:Expert reviews

Are they suitable not only for gaming but also for music and movies?

Hator Hyperpunk 3 USB are designed for mixed use: 40 mm drivers, a frequency range of 10–44,000 Hz, and Hi-Res Audio certification make them more appealing than a standard gaming headset for music and video. Virtual 7.1 sound, meanwhile, is more useful specifically in games.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviews

How comfortable are the Hator Hyperpunk 3 USB headphones for long gaming sessions and for people who wear glasses?

Weighing 240 g and featuring textile ear cushions, the headset should not cause noticeable fatigue during prolonged use. The review specifically highlights comfort when wearing glasses and good ventilation, although slight pressure on the head or ears may occur due to the individual fit.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviews

How does the microphone perform in calls and team games?

The Hator Hyperpunk 3 USB are equipped with a detachable flexible microphone featuring ENC and a separate mute function, so it can be positioned closer to the mouth or removed entirely. Voice communication quality was rated positively in a review and one user review; in noisy surroundings, external sounds may still be partially audible.Source:SpecificationsExpert reviewsGeneral information

Are there any reliability considerations worth taking into account?

The reviews are mixed: one buyer reported cracks in the plastic after six months, while another mentioned play in the USB-C port, creaking, and intermittent disconnections. At the same time, another owner described the construction as lightweight and sturdy, so these complaints cannot be considered characteristic of every Hator Hyperpunk 3 USB unit.Source:General information
