How to choose an air rifleHow to Choose a Reliable Air Rifle for Home Entertainment, Hunting, and Long-Range Shooting
Model overview based on user reviews
The Hatsan AirTact is a spring-piston air rifle known for its potential when modified. Users highlight its powerful performance after replacing the spring, achieving muzzle velocities of up to 330-340 m/s, which significantly enhances accuracy. The rifle's plastic build is considered durable and comfortable, although some users prefer modifications for optimal performance. However, the stock model has been criticized for its flaws, such as the plastic crumbling under pressure and issues with the moderator. While the rifle is affordable and can be upgraded for better performance, it may not be suitable for those unwilling to modify it. Overall, it is a decent choice for those looking to customize their air rifle, but it may not meet expectations out of the box.
Pros

Cons

I should have taken the striker edge.
24 December 2019
I've been using it for more than 3 months. I set the GP to 170 atm - the plastic began to crumble in the place where the compressor rests on the butt. had to take it off. then the butt broke off at the narrowest point. the Crossman 77 from which they copied had a thicker stock in this place. The plastic moderator began to peel off from the barrel and now rumbles every time it is closed. What kind of aiming accuracy can we talk about if the moderator with the front sight sway + - 5 mm. If we take from this category then the striker edge.
Pistol grip.
The whole model is full of flaws.

Rifle when modified can give out 330 ms! But you need to change the spring.
1 November 2019
I read a lot of reviews on the Internet, and many are not very positive. I have such a rifle, and I know that in stock it is just a break with a large accuracy of fire. But this rifle gets over for a penny, a new spring is put in and the accuracy immediately grows, and the accuracy becomes greater. According to the drain, the spring gives out 120-125 ms, and the accuracy is 8-10 cm. With a spring of 170 atm, the accuracy becomes 2-3 cm, the bullet speed is 330-340 ms, which is simply gorgeous. The case is plastic, yes, but as for me, good plastic is better than bad wood. Here the plastic is good, moderately soft, not very cold, durable. There is no recoil even with new springs. It breaks rough. Fiber sight, normal. But I put optics. Of course, if you do not plan to modify the rifle, then it is below average. But who knows, they buy it specifically in order to change the spring later. Such a procedure costs from 20 to 50 bucks, depending on which spring and where to put it. You can do it yourself, which I strongly advise because there is nothing complicated in disassembling and assembling here.
After reworking and replacing the spring, it becomes incredibly powerful. In general, very good plastic, and comfortable ergonomics.
Not suitable for those who do not want to bother and change the spring.
