The mid-range Hikvision DS-PDPC12P-EG2-WE motion detector was introduced by the Chinese brand in 2021. The device’s functionality is based on two-factor capture of unauthorized entry. Primary detection is carried out by an infrared sensor with adjustable sensitivity, and photo verification and live streaming of what’s happening are provided by a color camera with a flash.

The horizontal coverage angle reaches 85.9°, and the detection range is 12 meters. The proprietary CAM-X Wireless data transmission technology operates at 868 MHz with minimal latency and moderate power consumption. Three CR123A batteries support autonomous operation for 6 years in standby mode (about a year with normal activity). The detector is installed indoors away from the central hub at a maximum distance of 800 meters. Using the mobile app, you can configure pet immunity up to 30 kg.
