Affordable Hikvision DS-PDBG8-EG2-WE glass break sensor from a well-known Chinese brand. The 2021 model features an acoustic sensor with adjustable sensitivity from 2 to 8 meters and effective 120° coverage. Thanks to this, it supports wall and ceiling mounting, not just installation in a window opening. The software algorithms can recognize and accurately detect breakage of different glass types, including laminated, mirror, double-glazed units, patterned, and more.

A terminal block and lead are included, expanding use through compatibility with third-party wired equipment. The model works within the brand’s ecosystem, connecting to the central panel via the Tri-X Wireless protocol. It uses 868 MHz with pre-encrypted communication. Communication range is up to 1600 meters. Battery life is up to 5 years.
