We use it actively, after all, the dishwasher is an important appliance in the house. It washes well and does it quietly, apparently the inverter motor is to blame, about which the seller buzzed our ears. The basket for loading dishes is spacious, but out of habit I wash large dishes separately, they still wash quite quickly, so this is not a problem. Drying is average, but quiet and does not interfere. There is protection against leaks and a humming noise is, after all, the main indicator of reliable equipment. I haven’t noticed any serious drawbacks in it yet, I don’t know, maybe not much time has passed, but in any case, if something suddenly appears, I’ll add to my review. Quiet inverter motor
The Hotpoint-Ariston HSIO 3O23 WFE narrow built-in dishwasher for 10 place settings will help solve the kitchen problems of a small family that does not want to waste time on such a routine. The dishwasher can be connected to a hot water system with a temperature limit of up to 60 °C. In this case, the machine will spend less energy on heating cold water. The device controls the water pressure of the nozzles using an inverter motor with electronic power control, which results in an annual energy consumption of only 212 kWh (class A ++). At the same time, the motor runs noticeably quieter than the engines of similar devices, accompanying work at maximum loads with a noise of less than 43 dB. The complete set of the appliance consists of a lower and upper (with adjustment) baskets, complemented by a retractable folding shelf for cutlery, capable of reducing the surface by 2/3. The unit consumes about 9 liters of water per cycle, and the annual consumption of a valuable resource is 2520 liters based on an average use of the machine 280 times.
Hygiene programme
A wide choice of basic programs, numbering 9 cycles, allows you to accurately target the selected process to achieve the optimal result. From a 10-minute pre-soak, to a 30-minute express wash, to a 100-minute delicate glassware cleaning programme, to a hygienic intensive wash programme with an antibacterial rinse (70 °C), as well as an economical 4-hour ECO cycle. In addition, the machine received a silent night wash programme, 2 automatic cycles and a service programme for self-cleaning of internal structural elements from limescale.

The LED indicators on the control panel display show all relevant information about the current state of the machine. Here you can find out about the use of a tablet, the absence of salt and rinse aid, the number of the selected programme, the start delay time (up to 24 hours) and the activation of the Zone Wash 3D function, which connects additional sprayers to the washing operation, supplying water to the local zone. And the buttons for reducing the time of the Turbo programs, the options for improved drying "Extra-dry" and "Delay start" with their own indicators show the status of these options. A convenient function of the dishwasher is the LED projection of the beam on the floor, which makes it possible to assess the state of operation of the machine from afar without indications from the control panel.
The machine is quite quiet due to the inverter motor; it has features like adjustable middle rack height (convenient when you've loaded something bulky in the bottom rack), and 3D washing for the bottom compartment. The washing quality is decent; we use expensive premium tablets.
The model is fine, but compared to my own (of another well-known brand), there are a few nuances to point out:
- It washes well, but only if it's not overloaded with dishes "heaped" (we tested it on different programs).
- When there are a lot of dishes, the cleaning quality of the upper rack for spoons/forks suffers, and some remain not fully cleaned.
- The "no salt" indicator appears even when there's plenty, and it was filled according to the instructions.
