A fairly productive version of a 3-in-1 multifunctional device, mainly suitable for working in a corporate environment and equipping small workgroups. The device boasts color laser printing technology, a scanner and a fax. The network connection can be made either via a wired LAN interface or wireless Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi Direct hotspot mode simplifies direct printing from smartphones, tablets and laptops.

The HP Color Laser 179FWG color laser MFP has an average print speed: 18 ppm for black and white mode and 4 ppm for color. But to create the first print it will take 12.4 s. This model also features an auto-scan function, and the factory-installed auto document feeder tray is ready to hold up to 40 sheets of original documents. The print unit consists of four cartridges. Toner for black and white printing is designed for 1000 pages, color life is 700 pages. A 150-sheet tray is allocated for storing paper stock. In terms of hardware, the device received an 800 MHz processor, as well as 128 MB of RAM.
