In essence, the HTC P3450 is positioned one `evolutionary step` above the usual PDAs. The developers have combined in one device the functions of a `pocket computer` and a mobile phone. This allows us to talk about the HTC P3450 as a real information centre, suitable both for processing all kinds of data and for communicating with the `outside world`

Technical features:

• The body of the communicator is made of soft plastic SoftTouch, which is popular among manufacturers and users. The model is made in a classic style for such devices - moderately streamlined, with a minimal set of keys. Approximately the same could look like an average slider phone, if it is carefully flattened - on the front panel, in addition to the screen itself, there are only call / reset keys and a navigation block.
• The communicator uses a 2.8-inch display with a standard resolution of 240x320 for this type of device. 65K colours are displayed. Optionally, you can choose one of several brightness modes - in this case, the optimal backlight level is determined for working indoors, outdoors, etc.
• Interesting display options. The HTC P3450 uses the TouchFLO feature. You can call it by swiping your finger across the display from the bottom up. A three-dimensional desktop in the form of a parallelepiped will appear on the screen. On its sides are shortcuts to the most frequently used applications - separately `multimedia`, `communication`, etc. By turning the box, you can quickly and easily select the one you need. In addition, TouchFLO supports stroke recognition with a stylus or finger.
• It is noteworthy that the functions of the communicator can be controlled in two ways - both with a stylus/nail and with a finger. The device instantly detects which tool is being used.
• The HTC P3450 runs on Windows Mobile 6. As you know, it differs from the fifth version only in details that are insignificant for the average user, so there shouldn't be any particular problems when switching from one version to another.
• Unfortunately, the communicator uses a rather weak TI OMAP 850 processor with a frequency of only 201 MHz. It handles with the performance of ordinary tasks quite successfully, however, working with multimedia and some resource-intensive applications can cause short-term delays, however, not very significant ones.
• HTC P3450 natively supports multiple media formats, including AAC, AMR, MP3, MIDI, WAV, WMA, 3GPP, H.263, MPEG4, and WMV. The most common file formats will play without problems, for more `exotic` types you can install the appropriate support. Video in general should be `adjusted` to a resolution corresponding to the screen resolution, otherwise delays are quite possible.
