Cheap, but not so cheerful
Quite powerful engines are usually installed on the Interskol tool, and the Interskol PSHM-115/300E grinder is no exception. Thanks to the 300 W motor and the large working area of the sole (230x115 mm), the tool is optimally suited for processing large surfaces. Moreover, the grinder, despite its unsightly appearance, is made soundly. It does not overheat and can work for a long time without stopping.
But you have to pay for the power with the corresponding weight. The tool weighs 2.3 kg — significantly more than competitors. Due to the large weight and very noticeable vibrations, the hands of the owners of Interskol machines quickly get tired, especially when processing vertical surfaces.
Advantages and disadvantages
The device is equipped with a speed controller (not all vibratory grinders have this option). When sanding putty surfaces or removing paint, you can turn the wheel and reduce the speed, and when processing wood surfaces, increase to achieve a better result. Thanks to the successful design of the clamps, the sanding sheets are held firmly and do not slip off during operation. You can cut any sandpaper into 280x115mm pieces and they will hold securely in the clips.
But there is also some “low-cost” in the Interskol typewriter. For example, the nozzle of the dust extraction system is so short (less than 1 cm) that it is very problematic to fix the vacuum cleaner pipe on it. The filter bag practically does not retain dust, so you can not do without a respirator. The power cable is hard, and its length (only 2 m) is not enough for comfortable work. The trigger button is not dustproof, so particles of the smallest dust quickly get into it, due to which the trigger sticks (this is easily treated by cleaning and blowing, but still annoying).
Grinder for economical craftsmen
If you profess the principle “why pay more”, then the Interskol PSHM-115 / 300E grinder is just right. Despite the low price, it is quite strong and reliable. The only type of work that she can’t do is the delicate finishing grinding of wooden surfaces (low vibration frequency affects), for such tasks you should buy a faster machine.
