Gamepad with additional multimedia buttons

The shape of the gamepad, materials, stick design and controls of the iPega PG-9021 gamepad almost exactly repeat the original Xbox 360 gamepad. There is a D-pad under the left thumb, the sticks themselves are asymmetrical, and the triggers are perpendicular. The quality of the materials, of course, does not reach Microsoft products, but by the standards of the Chinese market, it looks very solid. Especially when you consider that in most stores for iPega PG-9021 they ask for about $20. As a bonus, on the right handle there is a pack of additional keys for controlling multimedia functions and volume, as well as a Home button that is very useful when playing on a smartphone.

Battery for 20 hours of continuous operation

In the centre of the gamepad there is a retractable platform with a smartphone mount, which is adjustable in height and is suitable for most even very large models. It is worth noting that it is attached quite securely and does not fall out even if you desperately shake the gamepad after another death in COD Mobile. It is also one of the rare low-cost gamepads with a built-in 380 mAh battery, one charge of which, according to the manufacturer, is enough for about 20 hours of continuous operation. Personally, while playing on a PC via Bluetooth, we got an average of 16 hours of work. This is an excellent result by the standards of penny Chinese gamepads.

Works flawlessly

Over the past couple of years, iPega has flooded the market with affordable gamepads of completely different quality. Testing some controllers, we wondered why so cheap? Others, on the contrary, wanted to quickly turn off and send back. It's nice that the iPega PG-9021 went to the first rather than the second category according to the results of the tests, deserving an excellent final score. Design in the style of the Xbox, though for an amateur, but it has passed the test of time. The smartphone holder is quite convenient. The buttons are clearly pressed. The connection is stable. Of course, the sticks here are not the most comfortable, clear and responsive (especially if you play shooters), but for this money it doesn’t happen otherwise.
