Li-Ion NMC Battery
The charging station is built around a 1002 Wh Li-Ion NMC battery. Cells of this type aren’t affected by the memory effect, work reliably across a wide temperature range, and are considered fire-safe. Before dropping below 80% of their rated capacity, Li-Ion NMC batteries can handle over 800 charge and discharge cycles.
Ports and interfaces
The charging station’s I/O is fairly standard: two 230 V AC outlets, two USB-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, and a 12 V cigarette lighter socket for DC devices. For recharging the station, there’s a DC input and an Anderson port, letting you top up from the grid, a car cigarette lighter, or solar panels. Charging is on the slow side—over 7.5 hours from the wall and longer via the alternatives.
Info display and LED flashlight
An information display on the front panel shows input and output power, as well as the remaining battery charge. On one of the side panels there’s a built-in LED flashlight—a handy extra for camping or during home power outages.
