I bought it today, walked over a large carpet, first dry, then wet. As a wet vacuum cleaner, it's simply excellent; it's easy to fill with water, the pump works reliably and never jams. The hose is quite sturdy, and it has good water suction power, I wouldn't say everything is too wet if you use it correctly. You need to keep the hose handle strictly parallel to the floor and press a little into the carpet, working strictly toward yourself. It's easy to dump the dirty water into the toilet and wash the container under the faucet in the bathroom, and that's it! A decent thing, I recommend it to everyone.
