Kenwood DDX-4019BT

The Japanese brand Kenwood has made a name for itself in the production of audio equipment for home and professional use, as well as car audio systems. A prominent representative of the latter kind is a 2DIN media receiver named DDX-4019BT.

In the spotlight

The focus of the functionally upgraded car radio is a 6.2-inch touch screen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels. In the device menu, you can set the preferred viewing angles of the display (Viewing Angle Adjusment), so that the displayed picture remains well readable from the driver's (or passenger's) seat. On the left side of the board, if you look at the screen "in the forehead", it is complemented by a vertical row of quick access buttons along with a "twist" volume control. The backlight colour of the physical buttons changes across the palette, adapting to the car's interior or driver's preferences. The receiver also has a programmable interface for connecting standard music control buttons on the steering wheel.

DSP processor
