Smart TV

The TV offered by the Kivi brand runs Android TV. When the model is connected to the Internet (and both the Wi-Fi 5 module and the LAN port are offered for this), the user can access popular media platforms, including YouTube and various online cinemas. The operating system is fast and stable, and will also please you with the richest set of applications for installation.

The remote control is designed to help you master Android TV on Kivi 50U710KB. It works via Bluetooth, that is, they do not need to aim at the screen. And in addition to the shortcut buttons, voice control and the ability to interact with Google Assistant are implemented here.

Great picture

The TV received a 50-inch 4K display with a UV2A matrix. It is inferior to IPS counterparts in terms of viewing angles (but better in this aspect than many VAs), but it provides high-quality colour reproduction and a well-balanced colour gamut. Even with subdued lighting, blacks look great, and there are no highlights at the edges of the screen. And all thanks to Direct LED backlighting and Uniformity + technology, responsible for its uniform glow.

According to the Kivi 50U710KB passport, it has a good peak brightness (450 cd / m²), which is an excellent indicator for this price segment. Even in a well-lit room, the picture is juicy and contrasting. And such a margin of brightness will come in handy when playing HDR (HDR10 support is announced), but you still shouldn’t count on an impressive difference with SDR content.

The abundance of interfaces and not only

The TV is equipped with a pair of 12-watt speakers: they provide a good volume margin and an acceptable sound level in general. To connect various external devices, 4 HDMI, 3 USB, and a mini-Jack for headphones are offered at once. The built-in TV tuner will "find" terrestrial and cable channels, but satellite TV will require a separate receiver. And this can be critical for those who live in remote settlements.

Kivi 50U710KB is a noteworthy Android TV with a balanced picture and easy controls.
