Kobo Nia

The electronic book of the specialized Kobo brand is a budget solution and one of the junior models of the branded line. Despite this, there is a Wi-Fi 4 wireless module, which allows you to connect the device to the Internet and download books "over the air", and not only through "intermediaries" in the form of a PC - via microUSB. The book reader received a 6-inch paper-like screen with a resolution of 1024x758 pixels, touch controls and ComfortLight backlight.

The latter is flexibly adjustable in brightness, which will allow you to choose the optimal conditions for reading at night. The Kobo Nia e-book allows flexible settings, including support for over 50 font styles, and a rich set of 15 default book formats (where there are, among other things, EPUB and EPUB3, PDF, MOBI) can be programmatically expanded. The model runs on a Linux platform, has got an i.MX 6 processor with a clock frequency of 900 MHz, 256 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. Responsible for autonomy is a 1000 mAh battery, which on average does not have to be charged for about a week. Among other features, it is worth highlighting the light weight (172 grams) and relatively small thickness (9.2 mm) of the e-book reader's plastic case.
