The Polish brand of electronic equipment Kruger & Matz is not so well known in the world market, but in vain, because its Eagle 1070 tablet is a device with good "stuffing" and low cost and can compete with the products of many famous companies from the mid-budget price segment.

The main advantage of the model is the presence of a built-in LTE modem and slots for two SIM cards at once, thanks to which the owner will not depend on Wi-Fi and a router, but will be able to use 4G mobile Internet, make calls and send messages anytime and anywhere. Moreover, all these functions are already included in the base model, that is, you do not have to pay extra for a special LTE version.

In addition, the tablet boasts a built-in GPS module, which is especially important for motorists: the device will replace a navigator or a regular smartphone while planning a route and finding the right path. As for other communications, things are not so rosy here: yes, you get a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB-C port that has already become standard, but the Bluetooth version is outdated - 4.2.

Everything you expect

Appearance corresponds to what you expect to see in an inexpensive device: a plastic, but not too bulky case, a 10.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and thick bezels around it. The screen quality is quite comfortable for reading, surfing the web and watching your favorite shows, series and movies. Moreover, at the same time you will be pleased with the sound, as the tablet is equipped with stereo speakers. A rather capacious 7000 mAh battery is installed inside, the familiar Android is used as the operating system, and for video calls and cases when you need to quickly take a picture of something, there are 5 MP front and 8 MP main cameras. Of course, they are very far from professional shooting, but hardly anyone will replace the camera with a tablet.

Based on the mid-range processor Mediatek Helio P60, and this is another echo of yesteryear. This chip was introduced back in early 2018, so it's strange that the manufacturer hasn't opted for a newer solution. Nevertheless, despite its venerable age, the processor quickly performs the tasks assigned to it, such as browsing sites, social networks, media content and undemanding games. But Kruger & Matz did not stint on the amount of memory, adding 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of ROM and a memory card slot (up to 128 GB) if the storage capacity is not enough.
