A line of well-balanced mid-range laptops that are suitable for a wide range of tasks. Equipped with a built-in TPM crypto-protection module, a fingerprint scanner built into the power button, a Full HD webcam with high-quality built-in microphones and modern wireless modules (Wi-Fi 6 + BT 5.1). They belong to the middle level, are representatives of the multi-purpose Lenovo IdeaPad family of 2023 release.

Unlike the IdeaPad 1 and IdeaPad 3 models, aluminium is used here rather than plastic, the hardware is much more powerful, and the user does not have to put up with widespread savings on matches. The series hardware platform is based on Intel Core i5 and i7 hybrid mobile processors from the Alder Lake family. A feature of this generation of chips is the use of hybrid P and E cores, thanks to which their total number was increased to 10 and 12 cores (for Core i5 and Core 7, respectively).

The 16 GB DDR4 RAM module is responsible for the speed of the system. It is soldered to the motherboard, so the RAM upgrade is not provided by the manufacturer. Graphics processing is performed either by the Iris Xe series video chip built into the processor, or by an entry-level discrete graphics card GeForce MX350. Thanks to the modern iron filling, these laptops are capable of any household and professional tasks of primary and medium complexity.

Only extremely voracious applications that require high processing power from the video card can become a problem. All devices of the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15IAL7 series are equipped with 15.6-inch IPS displays with an anti-glare coating, a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, standard color reproduction and wide viewing angles. Due to the high autonomy (up to 12 hours from a single charge) and support for fast charging (15 minutes will provide 2 hours of work), they will be useful while working outside the home, as well as on trips and business trips.
