They are primarily suitable for study and work, as well as other typical application scenarios. The family is distinguished by an abundance of configurations, among which there are both relatively inexpensive models and advanced laptops. The characteristic features of the devices include a fairly compact case (17 mm thick) with a high level of strength, which complies with the MIL-STD-810 standard.

And thanks to the use of aluminium, Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 16ABR8 laptops look stylish and have a moderate weight of 1.9 kg. Representatives of the line are equipped with IPS screens with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels (16:10) and basic characteristics, including a refresh rate of 60 Hz, peak brightness of 300 nits. The features of 16-inch displays include eye safety, which is confirmed by a certificate from the TÜV Rheinland concern.
