A unique representative of the mobile peripheral class, whose design differs radically from conventional devices thanks to its transformable form factor. The main feature of the model is its flexible body mechanism: in transport mode, the device is a completely flat plate just 14 mm thick, easily fitting into a breast pocket or a narrow section of a document folder. To start working, simply physically bend the rear part of the device, giving it an arch shape—this action simultaneously serves as a hardware power switch, activating the electronics.

Instead of the traditional mechanical wheel and visually divided keys, the wireless Microsoft Surface ARC Mouse is equipped with a seamless touch panel integrated into the front part of the case. This implementation allows for scrolling not only vertically but also horizontally, significantly simplifying navigation through extensive datasets in Excel or panoramic layouts without using scrollbars on the screen.

The precision positioning is ensured by the proprietary BlueTrack technology: the combination of a powerful beam and enhanced optics allows the sensor to work confidently on surfaces unavailable for classic optics, including glossy café tabletops, carpets, or polished wood. Connection is made via Bluetooth 4.1 protocol, eliminating the need to occupy the scarce ports of an ultrabook with external receivers.

Power is provided by two AAA batteries, which last for about 6 months of moderate use. The manipulator weighs 82 grams.
