Classic 15.6-inch gaming laptops from the LOQ gaming line launched in 2023. From a quick look, it becomes clear that all members of this series are clearly inspired by the success of the Legion line, with its many awards for the best design. In particular, the same I / O cutout protrudes from the back of the case, the neat LOQ logo on the lid is designed in the same style as the Legion series logo, and the keyboard is suspiciously reminiscent of LightStrike.

As planned by Lenovo, both series will harmoniously complement each other, expanding the freedom of choice for a potential user. The difference is that the Lenovo LOQ is designed more for beginners and budget gamers, while the Legion models are more suitable for experienced gamers. Video processing in this series is handled by NVIDIA RTX 4050/4060 video cards (Ada Lovelace series) with an advanced ray tracing system and a much more efficient DLSS 3.0 supersampling system, which can significantly increase the overall FPS without really blurring the picture.

The video card company is either a 10-core Core i5 chip or a more powerful 12-core Core i7. These are hybrid CPUs from the Raptor Lake family with different types of cores: high-performance P-cores are used for increased gaming load, and energy-efficient E-cores are activated when browsing, writing text or idle. Instead of the usual DDR4 RAM, a more efficient DDR5 (frequency 4800 MHz, volume from 8 to 16 GB) is used, which only at the end of 2023 gained a foothold in the gaming laptop market.

And as a drive, the manufacturer installed a modern M.2 SSD with support for the PCI-E 4.0 bus. In addition, Lenovo LOQ laptops have a Lenovo LA AI chip that works in conjunction with Lenovo AI Engine+ software. It dynamically adjusts GPU and CPU frequencies, adjusts fan speeds and monitors system heat levels so that the frame rate during the game is optimal, the processor does not throttling, and the battery is not consumed in 30 minutes of active play. It uses machine learning to analyze user habits to improve its performance over time. Other features of this series include fast charging, a backlit keyboard, a network card with a dedicated LAN port, and Wi-Fi 6.
