Dear customers, my neighbors, who have become fans of classic Rock and Roll, send their regards. Needless to say, it's great for a room setup, or you can throw it in the car and take it on a trip. For its size, it offers impressive sound. The highs might need a little adjustment to my ear, but the mids and lows are quite decent. So, there are absolutely no complaints about the sound quality of this little gem. And God save the Queen, Britain's classic design is simply wonderful. For home use, I would also consider the Tufton; this is a lighter but worthy option. It holds a long charge, has plenty of adjustments and controls, etc. And please do not start talking about buying a Sony or something from Ali or even JBL... that's all mass-market suicide. If you're satisfied with the sound from those mentioned, no offense, this isn't for you. Don't waste your money; settle for less. But if you truly enjoy music, definitely invest in something high-end. Peace to all. And the advantages are so obvious that there’s no need to mention them. i couldn't find speakers of that level (not professional acoustics) from the two brands Kilburn and Tufton. |
An excellent speaker, worth the money. I recommend. - and of course, the design. Looks just excellent. Looks even better than it feels. Although it feels quite decent too. Build quality is at a commendable level. The quality of materials is excellent. By and large, I don’t see any objective shortcomings for the average listener. Great device. use Marshall Kilburn II less than month |
I had nothing to compare the Marshall Kilburn II with, so I relied on the characteristics and customer reviews. After a short period of use..... there is still an ambiguous impression (see advantages and disadvantages). But overall I recommend it for purchase. I believe that in this price range, there is simply no better alternative. I tried to make my review objective. 1) Great BASS sound!!!! 2) Loud (indoors I listen at 3-4), amazing clean and detailed sound!!!! 3) Battery charge indicator. 4) Ability to adjust bass and treble. 5) Top-notch build quality of the acoustics (vandal-resistant and splash-proof casing, including plastic corner inserts, metal grille, and a genuine leather strap). Magnificent external design, when you hold it, you immediately feel - "THE REAL DEAL"! 6) Comparatively lightweight (2.5 kg). 7) Presence of "Bluetooth" ;o) 1) The right speaker is located at the back, so to catch the "stereo effect," the Marshall Kilburn II needs to be turned to face you with its left side. I consider this a BIG disadvantage. 2) The battery power is lower than stated by the manufacturer. In fact, at a volume level of 3 to 5, the playtime is about 16 hours. The battery capacity is not displayed anywhere, which is quite suspicious. 3) Fast battery charging (approximately 2.5 hours). At this charging speed, the battery won't last long. 4) The "on-off" switch is combined with the volume control. 5) A nitpick... the signature "Marshall" logo is plastic and protrudes on the front panel. Even with careful use, it can easily break off. 6) In my case, the "bluetooth" works inadequately with the AIMP3 player. AUX is faster and more reliable, but not always convenient. use Marshall Kilburn II less than month |
The British company Marshall has been producing professional speaker systems and amplifiers for many years, which are in demand among the legends of world music. Portable acoustics Kilburn II — expensive, but refined pleasure for connoisseurs of vintage design and the legendary British "warm tube" sound.
Out of fashion
A rectangular device measuring 162x243x140mm and weighing 2.5 kg looks like a small guitar combo amplifier. Grey, burgundy or black leather-look vinyl, a comfortable hard grip, round adjustment knobs and a grill logo give the product an expensive, presentable look.
The speaker is not only beautiful, but also practical — fingers do not slip off the ribbed handle, small legs allow you to firmly install the amplifier on any surface. The case has an IPX2 protection class, that is, it is not afraid of moisture, but it is better not to get caught in the rain.
more sound
The 2.1 audio system, unlike its predecessor Marshall Kilburn, has become 11 W more powerful(36 vs. 25) with the same body dimensions. The sound is really a bomb, the basses are deep, tight, clear, the mids are wide and rich, the highs are devoid of artifacts, everything is transparent and clean with a characteristic warmth that you will not find in other portable systems. The closest competitor of Kilburn II — JBL Etreme 2 sounds sharper and not so rich in the midrange. In addition, Marshall has the ability to play with high and low settings using the analogue controls on the top panel.
The boombox connects to a sound source via Bluetooth v 5.0 and AUX. There are no other options from where you can read the track, but you should not worry that wireless sound will be with loss of quality, since the model supports the aptX codec.
More battery life
Portable acoustics is powered by a lithium-ion battery, which charges in 2.5 hours and provides battery life up to 20 hours at medium volume. Moreover, a 20-minute charge is enough for 3 hours of playback, and a special indicator light helps to see the remaining charge capacity.
The Marshall Kilburn II is a real treat for the music lover and brand lover. A piece of the British music world will cost as much as $ 300, expensive, but worth it.
