The flagship representative of portable acoustic systems of the specialized American company Marshall belongs to the solutions of the highest price segment with the capabilities corresponding to the status. The model is characterized by rather large dimensions (350x229x163 mm) and a weight of 4.9 kg. But inside the case is a powerful stereo system of 80 watts, including a 40-watt subwoofer, two 15-watt midrange and one 10-watt tweeter.
The Marshall Tufton speaker also received a phase inverter, which contributes to a richer and deeper bass sound. By the way, the user is offered the opportunity to adjust both the volume and separately low and high frequencies. Acoustics is synchronized with an audio signal source only via a wireless channel. Bluetooth v 5.0 is used, and there is also support for the aptX codec. The speaker can work from the mains or the built-in battery. The latter provides up to 20 hours of battery life, is supplemented by a charge indicator and supports fast charging (20 minutes is enough for 4 hours of music playback). Also note that the plastic case provides minimal water protection (IPX2 class), and a handle is offered for carrying.

The speaker is just fire, it was bought after the Kilburn 2. Although the small one is also not bad, this is night and day in terms of sound. I believe there's nothing better in the portable segment at the moment. No, although the pairing feature might have been useful. It would have been nice to be able to sync it if you could at least connect 2-3) |
I got it for a 40 square meter yard. It pumps amazingly!) The sound is Marshall!) Pure emotions!) Special thanks to the guys from the AVIC store in Kharkiv, Pavlov Square 8. Price isn't the main thing... Emotions are what matter most in our lives... And Marshall delivers... (I'm using both their headphones and the first Kilburn) Sound, Autonomy, Convenience. They cannot be! |
Definitely not worth the money, even though they sound very good. Although, from which side to look / listen. They reproduce the classics with a lot of embellishment. I still think this acoustics was created for youth pop and so on. The fact is that pure sound is not the main parameter, authenticity is also important. Say - it's stupid to demand this from portable acoustics. No, it’s not stupid, because these are marshals, and for the norms a ton of dough. Well, for those who do not care about authenticity, they will sound superb, because with the twisters you can swing them normally like that, and they hammer loudly, even on the street. The bass is really not so booming, probably because the lower frequency threshold here is 40, instead of 20 as it should be. For that there is aptX and 5 bluetooth. The battery lasts a very long time. I have never planted them, although they usually play until the evening. Well, the appearance, you don’t need to write anything here, maybe these are marshals. For this I love them. They would cost 250 bucks. Then I would say that this is a good model. And at a price of more than 350. - well, no. The battery holds a charge for a very long time. Loud. There is aptX and bluetooth 5. They sound very bright. but for modern music, listening to the classics on them is bad. Appearance for 5+. For the price they should be more academic. Bass is weak. |
