Measurement memory for 40 cells

The Medica-Plus Termo Control 7.0 infrared thermometer is the flagship of the Medica-Plus line of non-contact temperature metres, providing users with a wide range of options. In addition to the standard forehead temperature measurement, the device can work in the mode of measuring the temperature in the auricle, as well as remotely record the temperature of any objects in the room, including t liquids and food. The device is made in a convenient form factor, reminiscent of a remote control with a display, and lies well in the hand. On the back of the case there is a bell with a reading sensor that closes the ear tip with a special cap. The facade of the case is equipped with a button for turning on the temperature measurement, which also allows you to configure the measurement to be accompanied by an audible signal or turn it off completely. In addition, there is also a second button for selecting the operating mode and viewing previous measurements recorded in 40 memory cells.

Two temperature measurement scales

The model measures body temperature in the range of 32 – 42.9 °C and ambient temperature in the range of 0 – 100 °C with an average error of 0.2 °C. Measurements are performed almost instantly in 1 second with real values of body temperature as close as possible to readings of a mercury thermometer. The manufacturer should be praised for the informative display, which, depending on the status of work and the temperature value, changes colour: blue — standby mode, green — 32 – 37.5 °C, orange — 37.6 – 38 °C and red — 38.1 – 42.9 °C. When the temperature is within the red zone, a fever (high heat) warning tone sounds. The bottom of the back of the thermometer body is occupied by a battery compartment with 2 AAA batteries included in the package. A slide switch located above the battery pack allows you to quickly change temperature units from degrees Fahrenheit to degrees Celsius (F/C). The manufacturer provided a 2-year warranty for the thermometer, and also supplied the device with a soft shipping case.
