Model overview based on user reviews
The Meike Speedlite MK-950 is a budget-friendly flash that offers TTL support and is compatible with Canon and Nikon cameras. Users appreciate its affordable price and good build quality, making it a suitable option for beginner photographers. However, some reviews highlight issues such as inconsistent performance, with photos sometimes being overexposed or underexposed, and a high energy consumption compared to other models. There are also reports of weak battery contacts and occasional malfunctions, such as not working in manual or strobe mode. Despite these drawbacks, the flash is praised for its durability, having survived a fall from two meters. Overall, while the Meike Speedlite MK-950 offers good value for its price, potential buyers should be aware of its limitations and consider purchasing with a warranty.

if you buy such a flash, then only with a guarantee, but then you have to overpay 3 times more .. (( small price a month after the purchase, it burned down .. and somehow unexpectedly, almost at the beginning of the shooting, it didn’t seem to overheat anything like that, the flash itself is on and everything functions only there is no flash when the pilot button is pressed, it’s barely visible and even then not always ..! use Meike Speedlite MK-950 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
CHINESE PEOPLE WILL SOON TAKE EVERYTHING INTO THEIR OWN HANDS. THE QUALITY OF THEIR ELECTRONICS IS RAPIDLY IMPROVING. BUY CONFIDENTLY, MAYBE EVEN ORIGINALS WILL START TO GET CHEAPER IN COMPARISON. ADVANCED FLASH FOR A FUNNY PRICE, ABOUT 3,5K RUB. I WANTED TO BUY A CANON, BUT INSTEAD OF ONE I BOUGHT 4 MEIKE. THE LINEAGE COMES FROM NIKON - THE CHINESE COPIED IT AND A CAT IS NOT THEIR BROTHER. THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING IN A SET ON TRIPS VERY INTENSIVELY FOR OVER A YEAR. WEAK CONTACTS IN THE BATTERY PACK. BUT THIS CAN BE EASILY FIXED. YOU NEED TO MONITOR AND LIFT THEM UP IN TIME. use Meike Speedlite MK-950 month or more i recommend it should buy |
Very high-quality assembly. From the minuses - it does not work stably (1 picture is overexposed, 2 is underexposed, 3 is even darker if you take photos in a series), consumes a lot of energy (I have an Ansmann AA 2600 mAh set that was barely enough for 1 day of work, while the Nikon SB900 works on these batteries 5-6 days with the same number of exposures and the same conditions), in TTL mode with poor lighting in motion, there are many unsharp photos when using the flash (and this is on the Nikon D800, while there is almost no shortage on the Nikon SB900!). After 5 months of work, the high-voltage transformer that lights the lamp and that's it broke... I described it, draw your own conclusions) Simple, qualitatively assembled, the cheapest flash. Rich. use Meike Speedlite MK-950 month or more |
