Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller - Remix Special Edition is a specialized version of the brand's wireless controller for the Xbox family of gaming consoles, including the latest Series X and Series S. It stands out due to the use of recycled plastic, from which most of the device is made. Otherwise, this is a completely familiar, well-proven controller with a Microsoft-style layout, which is the main alternative to controllers for Sony consoles.

Unlike the DualShock and DualSense, the Xbox Wireless Controller has an asymmetrical left stick and d-pad, and instead of a pair of horizontal bumper buttons, there are vertical triggers. Textured coatings on the triggers, bumpers and back cover provide a more secure grip, the 8-way hybrid D-pad ensures maximum precision and clarity while moving the game character, and a separate audio output allows you to connect headphones so as not to distract household members if you play late in the evening or early in the morning.

Plus, the presence of a wireless connection (Bluetooth + radio) allows you to use the gamepad on a PC and mobile devices with iOS and Android operating systems. The Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller can be powered by either a pair of AA batteries or a built-in battery, which is not included with the Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller. Battery life depends on connection type and use of additional accessories. A standard USB C cable is used for charging. It can also be used for direct connection to a PC or console.
