Incredible Touchscreen Display
One of the key advantages of the Surface laptop series from Microsoft is the proprietary PixelSense screen. The panel has a diagonal of 13.8 inches, using a 3:2 aspect ratio, and the resolution of 2304x1536 pixels significantly surpasses Full HD in detail. Smooth images are ensured by a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and the standard contrast of 1400:1 is complemented by a high brightness reserve up to 600 nits, making work comfortable even in bright external lighting.
An important feature of the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 13.8 inch Snapdragon [ZGM-00037] display is touch input support, as well as the presence of Gorilla Glass v5. Meanwhile, classic control has not been ignored—the laptop is equipped with a large touchpad and a backlit keyboard.
Balance of Performance and Battery Life
The model is based on a 10-core Snapdragon X Plus processor, which confidently handles everyday tasks: working with documents, web surfing, video calls, and more resource-intensive applications, especially those optimized for the ARM architecture. The processor is supported by integrated Adreno GPU graphics and 16 GB of RAM, with 512 GB SSD storage for data. One of the laptop's significant advantages is its high autonomy—up to 13 hours of active internet work and up to 20 hours of video playback.
Additional advantages include a 3D face scanner, support for the modern Wi-Fi 7 standard, and two USB4 ports. It's also worth noting the durable aluminum body with a thickness of only 18 mm and pre-installed Windows 11 Home. The downsides include a limited set of ports: there are no HDMI and card reader ports, replaced by the proprietary magnetic Surface Laptop Connect port for charging and docking station connections.
