MIE Romeo II

The MIE brand ironing press belongs to the advanced level models. The dimensions of the working surface are 81x29 cm. This is several times larger than the soleplate of any iron, due to which time savings and additional convenience are achieved in the ironing process.

Heating and steam supply from two sides

The MIE Romeo II features include the fact that not only the upper, but also the lower platform heats up. This feature is designed to increase the efficiency of ironing and speed up the drying of wet things. The Teflon-coated top platform provides 60kg of ironing pressure, enough for most household needs, including ironing multiple folded laundry.

The press is ready for operation within 3 minutes after switching on, for which a 2200-watt heater is responsible. It also vaporizes water, which must be added to a removable 800 mL transparent reservoir. By the way, steam is also supplied from two platforms. And the user can choose either the bottom or top feed, or both at once. The steam intensity reaches 120 g/min, but there is no power adjustment, as suggested by MIE Europa.

MIE Romeo II received a control panel with a display that allows you to set one of five temperature modes in the range from 60 to 220 °C. Each of them corresponds to popular types of fabric: respectively nylon, silk, wool, cotton and linen. For greater clarity during operation, the current heating temperature is constantly displayed on the screen.

Extended kit

Other useful features of the model include the ability to use tap water: two anti-calcium filters for descaling are included in the kit. The security system is represented by an audible alarm and automatic shutdown in case of prolonged closing (more than 10 seconds) or inactivity (more than 15 minutes of inactivity).

The package includes two covers for the base and a cushion-lining for ironing delicate items of clothing and accessories. In addition, the buyer can choose the appropriate colour of the device (black, silver or white), as well as purchase a special stand.
