The first experience with the iron. What you immediately notice is that the iron in hand feels almost weightless because all the water is in the base. Your arm doesn't get tired, even with prolonged ironing. A full tank lasts about 1–1.5 hours of continuous use, which is more than enough. The steam burst is excellent. Instead of moving the soleplate over one spot, you simply glide the iron and let the steam do its job. For over-dried clothes, there’s a "turbo" mode, but the regular mode is sufficient for 90% of tasks. Plus, there's no need to adjust the thermostat like on a regular iron — the iCare mode keeps the temperature safe, so you won't scorch the curtains. On the downside, when the iron pumps water, the pump is quite noisy, and you'll hear it throughout the apartment in silence. The steam hose is bulkier and more rigid than a regular cord and somewhat unwieldy, but it’s long enough, so you can place the water base on the floor instead of squeezing it onto the board.
