A compact external modem, made in the form factor of a rectangular box with rounded corners (dimensions 116x116x32 mm), is an advanced level network device without a built-in Wi-Fi module for “distributing the Internet” to several gadgets simultaneously. But in addition to the SIM card slot (Nano SIM format), there are two LAN ports with high bandwidth up to 1 Gb / s. One of them can receive a signal from a wired Internet provider, and the other can be used to connect to an external Wi-Fi router (claimed to be compatible with almost any modern router) or an end device, such as a desktop PC or laptop.

In addition, there is a USB C port that provides power to the NETGEAR LM1200 modem. The device is positioned as a suitable choice for sites with a slow wired Internet connection, such as DSL technology. The model works in LTE networks and corresponds to the Cat.4 category with peak data reception / transmission speeds up to 150/50 Mbps. To amplify the signal of mobile networks, two TS9 connectors are provided on the case, which are needed to connect antennas.
