The third iteration of the base model in the flagship Olympus OM-D line of mirrorless cameras. The camera adopts the popular retro-style look and feel, and hides cutting-edge hardware inside an aluminium alloy body. The main protagonist of the model is a Micro 4/3 format matrix with a resolution of 16 MP. Its native ISO range is measured from 200 to 25600 ISO, and the crop factor of the image sensor is 2x.

When aiming at a target, the mirrorless relies on 121-point autofocus. In this case, the focus point can be set by tapping on a 3-inch diagonal touch screen, which is mounted on a swivel hinge. Frame framing is also possible using the electronic viewfinder. The camera supports remote control from a smartphone “over the air”, is capable of “shooting” over 330 shots on a single battery charge and is equipped “out of the box” with a kit lens with a universal set of focal lengths of 14-150 mm.
