The round head is a new trend in the on-camera flash segment. In fact, you can see a round head in the Godox V1 model. It produces a more even spot of light and is compatible with a variety of accessories.

The flash attachments are held onto a magnetic mount around the perimeter of her head. These can be light filters, a semicircular reflector, honeycombs, a tube, a matte hemisphere and other devices for changing the degree of light scattering. The model implements full support for TTL automatic modes, provides for a manual mode for setting parameters and a high-speed HSS synchronization mode with shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s.

Fine tuning power

The power of "puffs" in Godox V1 is adjusted with an accuracy of 1/10 stop, its minimum threshold is set at 1/256 power. Also, the TCM function appeared in the model from the remarkable. It switches the flash from TTL to manual, copying the power of the last firing. The function allows you to quickly get an approximate setting of external light sources using TTL in the mode of operation of the presenter and then continue to work in the "manual".

Through niche for the battery

The flash is attached to the hot shoe of the camera with a latch, which guarantees a secure fit. It also increased the angle of the vertical inclination of the head (up to 120 °), installed a pilot light with a temperature of about 3200K(which is not impressive). There is no battery compartment in the flash case — a branded battery is inserted inside it and is fixed on the latch. On one battery charge, you can shoot about 480 frames at full power "puffs".
