A modern multimedia projector based on DLP technology with a high native resolution of 1920x1080 and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The manufacturer positions it as a low-cost home solution and belongs to the initial price category (among models with Full HD resolution). Designed for use as part of home projection cinemas, it can be used as an output device for a digital entertainment complex based on the latest generation game consoles.
A distinctive feature of this model is a short throw lens capable of creating large image diagonals at low throw distances and a high-quality projection unit created using DLP technology with a physical matrix size of 0.65". Thanks to these features, the Optoma GT1080 projector can create an image with a diagonal of more than 2.5 m, being only a metre from the screen. The projection features good brightness (standard mode 2800 lm), high contrast and excellent colour reproduction with a colour depth of 30 bits. There is automatic vertical keystone correction up to 40° and 2x digital zoom. The projector is additionally equipped with a built-in high-quality acoustic system with a power of 1x10 W. It is equipped with a relatively quiet lamp cooling system. The lamp life in standard mode is 5000 hours, when using economy mode it can increase up to 6500.
