Honored Jubilee
Patriot P400 V4 is a two-terabyte SSD in M.2 format with a PCIe Gen4 interface from a brand celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Compared to the original version without the V4 suffix, the device has become faster while retaining the same price. The sequential read speed reaches 6200 MB/s, and write up to 5200 MB/s. A thin graphene sheet helps maintain stable performance.
For PCs and Consoles
Thanks to the use of an aluminum and carbon alloy with high thermal conductivity, the drive is equally well-suited for desktop computers, laptops, and even the PlayStation 5 console. If desired, it can be turned into an external drive by purchasing a Patriot VXD or TXD USB enclosure. The operating temperature range is from 0 to 70 degrees Celsius, exceeding which activates the thermal throttling mechanism.
Error Correction
The Host Memory Buffer technology allocates 64 MB of system memory to be used as cache. The Smart ECC system corrects single-bit write errors, providing additional reliability. The declared rewrite resource is 640 TB, and the warranty period is 5 years. This means that even with daily rewriting of a third of the drive's volume, the limit will not be reached under real operating conditions.
