Model overview based on user reviews
The Petzl Tikka XP is a headlamp known for its brightness and lightweight design, making it ideal for quick movements, such as hiking or cycling. It features a logical activation sequence, starting with the most economical light, and maintains brightness even as batteries discharge. Users appreciate the convenient strap and easy battery compartment access. However, there are concerns about the leaky battery compartment and weak ratchet fixation, although these have been addressed in upgraded versions. The flashlight is not ideal for reading due to its light beam distribution, but it offers good light and uniform illumination for its primary purpose. While some find it overpriced, it remains a decent choice for those seeking a reliable headlamp.

Cons

good model, I liked it

A convenient, lightweight, and bright flashlight for quick movement on a hiking trip or on a bicycle. For night reading enthusiasts, it's not particularly convenient due to the characteristics of the light beam distribution. I would recommend the first generation Tikka (Tactikka) XP or Black Diamond with separate LEDs for long-distance and diffuse light.
brightness of the lighting is enough for quick movement, including on a bicycle
brightness does not decrease as the batteries discharge (white Eneloop lasts for 2 hours and 9 minutes at full brightness, Eneloop Pro for 2 hours and 29 minutes)
logical activation sequence - most economical light first
convenient strap
the headlamp is virtually unnoticeable on the head
battery compartment opens easily and quickly
pronounced gaps between the battery compartment cover and the body
weak ratchet fixation (in the upgraded version, this has been fixed, and in the first versions, they say it is changed under warranty - different sizes of teeth on the body and the head frame)
not the best model for reading: the 5-lumen mode is weak, the 40-lumen mode is too bright. And to this is added a strongly pronounced horizontal light stripe.
Andreyuse Petzl Tikka XP month or more i recommend it should buy
A very decent flashlight for its main purpose.

Good light, uniform illumination of the central spot and the periphery, light weight, excellent strap ergonomics
The light itself, operating time from one set of batteries in economy mode, strap
Unreasonably leaky battery compartment, weak ratchet, overpriced. If we remove the shortcomings, then for the price it would be absolutely excellent
