 | Outdated Product A miniature Polaroid capsule with dimensions of 35x35x35 mm and a weight of only 47 g will fit for shooting anything and everything. Externally, the front panel of the camera, where the wide-angle lens (124 °) is located, resembles the logo of the social network Instagram. On the bottom plane of the cube there is a magnetic mount — strong enough so that the camera does not fly off the bicycle handlebars. Inside the Polaroid POLC3 Cube, a 5 MP image sensor is installed that can shoot FullHD video at a speed of 30 fps and “click” photos at a resolution of 3328x1872 pixels. Materials are saved on removable microSD memory cards (up to 32 GB inclusive). The capsule remains operational when submerged under water to a depth of 2 m without the use of additional protective devices. It can be paired...with a universal monkey mount, as well as clips for a helmet, belt, handlebars and, of course, a waterproof case for deep diving. The energy reserves in the tanks of the standard camera battery are enough for about an hour and a half of the filming process. |

As a TV guy, I initially approached the "cube" with a lot of skepticism. The specifications were average, no extra protection, and no mounting options. BUT! The "cube" turned out to be the ideal backup option! I stuck it on the side of the car and on the roof. In cold and heat. An electric train "flew over" it, shaking the camera with the wind, it stood on the scooter's handlebar - darting through Moscow's streets, mounted on the muzzle brake (!) of the ZIS-3 frontline cannon! That is, on the barrel. And when firing, the picture was amazing. The magnet held it in place! So the "episodic" helper from the cube is perfect. FULL HD 30 fps - looks quite good. I've had the "cube" for THREE YEARS! Used regularly, but I'll repeat - not as the main camera (specifications are a bit weak). Over time, the battery has "wearied" - its real time is half an hour. But with a power bank during filming, it doesn't bother. POLAROID lives up to its quirks - the output image is slightly "tinted," in most cases, it doesn't require post-processing and color correction. This pleasantly surprised me. Definitely recommend. 1. Form factor. A bright, non-slip cube with a strong magnet. SUPER convenient. 2. Size. Fits where the GO-Pro sometimes won't squeeze in. 3. The lack of mounts is compensated by the magnetic bottom. This speeds up installation significantly. 4. Connects to a phone and tablet via WiFi. Sometimes the app "acts up," but not fatally. Usually, everything falls into place after a restart. 5. Quick access to the card and port. Can record when connected to a power bank. 6. Enhances, "colors" the image, as is customary with Polaroid. But the enhanced colorfulness doesn't make the image "toxic." Everything is within reasonable limits, and you get used to it. 1. For me, the main drawback is the muffled sound. The microphone is deep inside, and the sound is like it's coming from under a hat. You can't connect an external one. 2. Battery. I wish it lasted longer. 3. There are no "extras" for underwater installation. Despite the company text about waterproofing, you shouldn't place it in a puddle! 4. Shooting angle. It's narrower than on most action cameras. I used it for 2 months and tested it as soon as I could. The camera worked almost every day. The buttons don't always work, everything is glitchy. take a photo and get a video and vice versa! I suffered and suffered and eventually the WiFi module broke. Returned it to the store under warranty. Glad you were able to get your money back. I thought I was throwing 12,000 down the drain. Also included is nothing except a silicone case.
