Initially, I compared Sennheiser GSP 300 with GameCom 380 in the store. The Sennheiser had better bass and louder sound, but the microphone was quieter, and I sounded less clear, so I didn't buy the Sennheiser.
I just received the Plantronics RIG 500 PRO HX today. The sound is awesome: slightly louder than the GameCom 380, and the bass is better, not cut or exaggerated. They are closed back, and the surroundings are almost inaudible. The microphone is about the same as in the GameCom 380. They don't press, and they are light. The cable does not look very durable. The package included adapters for connecting to PlayStation and Xbox, but if not using them, the cable fits the laptop. The volume control on the plug that is inserted into the laptop is interesting, as is the option to detach the cable for connecting to the laptop.
