Definitely take it if you are a beginner.

Hello pencil boxes. Star of our evening: budget-friendly, ultra top-notch monitors 0_0 Eris by PreSonus. Generally, PreSonus makes decent monitors, but in the budget version - just what an average person needs for a small price 0_0. After looking at this wonder, I realized it's something new in the collection, and I'll immediately say, in terms of functionality, sound, and appearance, they have no equal in the low price range. Let's get straight to the point, you didn't come here to read how someone praises the look of the monitors (-_-), we need the meat - sound quality. In general, these buckets of bolts are suitable for a small room perfectly. I first tested it in a space with not very strong sound absorption. Early reflections were heard (but not strong), there was almost no sound diffusion (well, it's not my studio, what can you do). Let's say, in the battle conditions of young musicians. Firstly, I would recommend getting a 5-inch one, secondly, adjust your Presonus on the back panel. Less bass to avoid echo. The basses themselves are excellent, rich. The top of the monitors is clear, and the midrange... the midrange is wonderful (on the frequency response spectrum you can see a dip below the midrange. https://answers.presonus.com/12072/where-can-find-frequency-response-graphic-the-eris-monitors) That is, these buckets with nuts will even allow you to mix something on them. Honestly, I didn't expect such a price would still provide decent sound 0_0. Sitting with my APS like a lord, I was just shocked that such a box like Eris could still give good sound. You may want to consider the smaller siblings 3.5. The bass won't be as good, but still okay.
